2015-2016 NEW SOUTH VOLLEYBALL TRYOUT INFORMATION

Prior to Tryouts: Register for tryouts online at least one week prior to the player’s age group. A link for registration is posted here.
You will need to bring a completed USVA Membership* form which can be filled out here. (This link is the www.srva.org individual membership registration site). ​Complete a USVA Medical Release form (these do not have to be notarized) and are also found on the SRVA website or here

Day of Tryouts: Please make sure you bring all paperwork listed above and the $30 try-out fee. It is a great idea to make sure your player has their SRVA ID PIN # as well as their account password. Tryouts for all age groups will be held at West Creek High School 1210 W Creek Coyote Trail, Clarksville, TN 37042. Athletes will need to wear comfortable athletic attire. Kneepads are encouraged but not required.

Please arrive 10 minutes early for check-in and warm ups. Tryouts will begin promptly at the time stated below. ​

All Age Groups will tryout from 1-3PM at West Creek High School (1210 W Creek Coyote Trail, Clarksville, TN 37042​) 

After Tryouts:

​If your daughter has been selected for a New South team; she will be contacted by her coach or club director within 1-2 days following tryouts. If your daughter has not been selected for a New South team for this season, you will be notified via email within 7 days. Players will be sent a commitment letter and MUST return it or their position on the team will be offered to another player.

2015-2016 Season Payment Schedule

                          $300.00           $400.00           $200.00           $90.00             $990+ Uniform Package*

*Uniform Packages will run between $110-240 depending on player/parent choices.
Additional Information (what club payment covers)

Season Length: January- April (seasons may be extended if a team qualifies for the National Tournament).

                            Open gyms occur in November/December and are free to club members.

*Basic Uniform Packages:  2 Jerseys, 2 Practice Shirts (additional items include, spandex, warm up jacket, warm up pants)

Practice:            2-2.5 hour practices twice a week.

Tournaments:   4 tournaments (more may be added on a team by team scenario)

Coaches:           Each team will have a Head Coach and an Assistant Coach. Plus the knowledge other coaches.

USAV Registration:  Club fees cover the SRVA registration fee.

**SRVA Regional Championships: An additional $120 per player for teams interested in attending the SRVA

Regional Championships in Atlanta, GA April 23-24th.

***Players will be required to register on the AAU website, there is a $16 registration fee.
